Chris Ingmire, EXECUTIVE CHEF

Executive Chef Chris Ingmire brings a distinct vision that combines inspiration from the abundance of the Pacific Northwest with his experience in top kitchens across the country to offer an unforgettable dining experience at Thompson Seattle. Ingmire oversees culinary operations for Conversation Kitchen & Bar, the hotel’s all day dining concept, along with thoughtfully crafted bites at The Nest, the hotel’s stunning rooftop cocktail lounge. Using the highest quality ingredients from regional purveyors, his menu is a seasonal celebration.

Following graduation from Le Cordon Bleu Pittsburgh, PA in 2005, Ingmire fine-tuned his technique at Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles as Chef de Partie. He then joined the Driskill Hotel in Austin, Texas where he oversaw the 1886 Café & Bakery and the Driskill Bar & Grill as Sous Chef and expanded the property’s experiential programming and culinary partnerships. Prior to joining Thompson Seattle, Ingmire was Executive Sous Chef at the Seattle Collection where he oversaw the Grand Hyatt, Olive 8, and Hyatt Regency Seattle. Ingmire played an integral role opening the largest hotel in the Pacific Northwest and was named the 2019 manager of the year.
